From Champagne Pierre Pters, Ltonnant Monsieur Victor is a limited, multi vintage Blanc de Blancs built around a single base year and elevated by long aged reserve wines. This edition is based on the 2018 vintage, blended with a significant portion of the domaines perpetual reserve, which includes wines dating back decades. The fruit comes entirely from Grand Cru vineyards in Le Mesnil sur Oger, and the wine is aged extensively on the lees before release, with a low dosage around 4 g L. Rodolphe Pters created this cuve as a flagship expression outside the traditional vintage hierarchy, selecting a top parcel from the current year and blending it with the best of the reserve to build both precision and depth. The style reflects that approach clearly: chalk driven minerality, citrus, orchard fruit, and a layered, structured finish, with the reserve wines adding breadth and complexity alongside the energy of the 2018 base. Production is extremely limited, with only a small number of bottles released for each edition. What sets this release apart visually is the artist designed packaging, inspired by Victor Pters.
